Experience: Gerassimos (Makis) Chaliotis has an extensive
practice focused on private insurance companies’ liquidations, social security, commercial law and Public Law. Makis is offering his services as Supervisor of Liquidation of private insurance companies,
appointed by the Department of Private Insurance Supervision (DOPIS) of the Bank of Greece and he is handling a number of
national and multinational cases in the fields of Commercial Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate. Education and Admissions:Makis
is a graduate of the University of Athens School of Philosophy (B.A. in German, 1995), Athens Law School
(LL.B., 2001) and City University of London (M.Sc. in Shipping, Trade & Finance, 2002). He is admitted to the Athens Bar
Association (2003) and can appear before the supreme courts. Languages: Makis speaks
